Why is IV therapy better than taking fluids, vitamins, and medications orally?
Fluids, vitamins, and medications given via IV bypass the digestive tract and go straight to the bloodstream, allowing for immediate absorption up to 100% (compared to approximately 50% when taken orally).
What areas do you service?
We are based in Northern Indiana and have nurses located in Goshen, Elkhart, Granger, Mishawaka, and Shipshewana. We service a wide radius from those locations, although a travel fee may be incurred for appointments 20+ miles away. Travel fees will always be disclosed and discussed with you before confirming an appointment!
What are your hours of operation?
While RNs are typically available 7 days per week, the availability may vary depending on the day and location requested. Appointments typically occur between 7 am to 7 pm, but we can accommodate requests outside of those hours as long as an RN is available to go (an after hours fee may apply). Feel free to text or call our Drip phone (574) 536-4545 at any time!
Are there age requirements for IV therapy?
At Drip, we are able to provide IV services for clients between ages 18-75. Requests for teen minors are approved by our doctor on a case by case basis. Parental consent is required for minors and a parent must be present for the infusion.
Who would benefit from receiving IV therapy?
Almost anyone can benefit from IV therapy. Our registered nurses can give you recommendations based on your symptoms and/or goals. IV therapy is ideal for dehydration, headaches/migraines, nausea/vomiting, flu/viral illness symptoms, pregnancy support, detoxification, energy boosting, promoting optimal wellness/nutrition, and more.

Who should NOT receive IV therapy?
Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. We cannot provide IV services to clients who have a history of congestive heart failure (CHF), kidney/liver failure, or other conditions that cause fluid retention. If you are experiencing chest pain, palpitations, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, symptoms of stroke (numbness, facial pain), or swelling in the legs/feet, you will also be ineligible for an IV and should seek immediate medical care.
This is not a complete list of conditions that would make someone a poor candidate for IV therapy. Please disclose all health history and current symptoms so that we can do our best to keep you safe and provide appropriate care. A house call fee may still be charged if a nurse denies IV treatment to a client for criteria that was not previously disclosed before the appointment which then rendered the client ineligible for an IV.

Is IV therapy safe?
Yes! Our infusions and protocols are crafted by medical professionals and are frequently reviewed by our Medical Director and pharmacist. Your infusion will be delivered by a licensed registered nurse.
How long does it take?
We recommend planning on an hour for your first appointment to be safe, although many appointments are completed in 45 minutes or less.
Does it hurt?
Our RNs aim to make your experience as painless as possible. You may feel a brief pinch as the IV is inserted, but the rest of the process should be relaxing and pain-free.

How long do IV vitamins last in the system?
Many factors impact the duration, but research suggests that elevated levels of vitamins and minerals may persist two to three weeks after an infusion.
